The Green Lounge’s ‘Watts Up” section is home for all the videos we’ve produced using the Watts Up power meter. The meter gives real time read outs of watts, amps, volts, apparent power and more, and also has storage capacity so you can set it up to record data over a period of time.
What makes the Watts Up especially useful is that it will create a forecast for monthly power consumption based on patterns of usage, and, after plugging in the cost of a unit (KWh) of electricity for your area, it’ll also tell you how much it will cost to run the device you’re testing.
