Only four days to go. If you’ve got a blog and haven’t already, make sure you sign up and post an environment-related article on October 15th. After almost two months of being online, more than 7,500 bloggers have signed up with many, many, more signing up daily! Since the launch of Blog Action Day not only have thousands of bloggers pledged to post, but the initiative has also been featured in the press, has been translated into 20 languages, and has some very large organisations like the United Nations Environmental Program, the Opera Community and social portal Reddit pledging to promote the activity.
If you’re a blogger, for a bit of fun they have created a little quiz you can take to tell you what kind of blogger you are. After you’ve completed the questions, it gives you a little badge you can embed back on your own blog to send people to the quiz and help it spread about. Also check out the video they have put together to explain the concept.

Thank you for participating in Blog Action Day.

I did not participate.
However, I did write a belated post about an environmental issue that is important to me. I see a lot of people using a product in luxury homes that is very destructive in a number of ways. Check out this post, please:
Brazilian Teak Floors, Slave Labor, and the Destruction of the Rainforest.

If this url was too long and got broken in the comment form, you can find it easily at:

Your blog seemed like the right place for sharing this post.
Whatever you can do to share this link or help promote awareness of this issue will be greatly appreciated. Normally, I don't ask for this kind of help, but the issue is that important to me. Most luxury home owners are unaware of the environmental and human cost of these products.
Thank you!
